A stamp book (which is used for pilgrims to collect stamps of shrines and temples they visit) was the starting point for the piece 'wrapping'.
The journey to Japan was my personal pilgrimage: to discover and remember Japan. The store from around the corner,
a stamp embedded into the street pavement, the cherry trees, the entrance into a family house.
As soon as I landed in Japan I collected wrapping papers, brochures, tickets, flyers, maps. They were used as material for collages.
